Davis Bros. was founded in 1945 as real estate development company and as an independent oil and gas producer. Its founders are Leon Davis from Houston, Texas and Elliott Davis from Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Davis Holdings, L.P., was created in 1992 to further take advantage of certain real estate and oil and gas investment opportunities apart from Davis Bros. A brief history of Davis Holdings' projects since its inception is described on page 1 of the real estate section.

Davis Holdings, L.P. principals, Leon Davis, and his two sons, have a combined history of employment with Davis Bros. of over 74 years, and have contributed to many of Davis Bros.' successes over the years.
